Het werk van Dagmar richt zich op het experiment. Op een ongebruikelijke manier combineert ze diverse materialen met verf.
Zo maakt ze vaak gebruik van zelfgemaakte sjablonen. Afgedankte (medische) verpakkingen worden ingezet om mee te stempelen of worden geassembleerd en zichtbaar gemaakt in het werk zelf. De mate waarin de mens steeds meer wordt gemedicaliseerd vormt een belangrijk thema in haar werk.

The artwork of Dagmar focuses on the experiment. In an usual way she combines various materials with paint. She often uses homemade templates. Discarded (medical) packaging is used for stamping or is assembled and made visible in the artwork itself. The increasing medicalization of humanity is a key theme in her work.
